Now that you’ve heard that Bakugan is coming to your favorite game system, we’ve got more details to spill before the big release this fall. By now, you’ve probably had all sorts of crazy Bakugan battles and you’ll be happy to know that there’s a variety of battle types you will need to master in Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
A chunk of the Story Mode in Bakugan Battle Brawlers is dedicated to various tournaments you can enter. They’re not all the same and typically take place in different worlds that might mix up your deck strategy. You might want to take into account the battle style as well. Here’s what you can expect:

1-on-1
The most popular battle style, 1-on-1 is a single player battle where you go head to head with an opponent. Just like you’re used to, you have 3 Bakugan, 3 gate cards and 3 ability cards. It’s best to do a little recon on your opponent to see how they battle so you can collect and arrange good gate and ability cards.

Tag Team
In Tag Team battles, you will pair up with another brawler. The battle is 2-on-2 and you’ll have 3 Bakugan, 3 gate cards and 3 ability cards. In this style, however, you’ll be able to help your teammate out if they’re in a bind. You can use your ability cards with a teammate’s Bakugan. Also when it comes time to battle, (and you will have ways to control battles!) you can give your teammate an extra boost. First team to collect 3 gate cards wins.

Battle Royal
Sometimes the most intense battle style, Battle Royal is a Free-for-all 4 player battle. It’s everyone for him or herself on one battlefield. You’ll have 3 Bakugan, 3 gate cards and 3 ability cards. The first to collect 3 gate cards wins. In Battle Royales it might be a little hectic, but players with the right strategy might dominate in this style. Even though you’re worrying about 3 opponents, so is everybody else.

Perhaps you just want to dive straight into the action or want to challenge certain players. Don’t worry, Bakugan Battle Brawlers also has a Battle Arena mode where you can just head straight into battling. Up to 4 players can fit in the Battle Arena so get ready for some marathon battle brawling.
